Argentina

Bon o Bon Alfajor

Argentina's Alfajores are some of the best in the world 🌎. These are no different. Indulge in these delicious milk caramel filled sandwich cookies covered in yummy white chocolate.

Did you know Alfajor has it's roots in the middle east? When the Iberian Peninsula was under the Al-Andalus period, this tasty treat was adopted. It then spread to Latin America by the Spanish and Portuguese.

Bon o Bon Chocolate

Story time: Bon Bon's brand was one of the brands that created the "Semana de la Dulzara" in Argentina. It is a week in the summer where you share a snack for a kiss! All you need to do is say "Un Bon o Bon por un beso" (A Bon o Bon for a kiss). We aren't in Argentina, but it might be worth a try 🫣 Even if it doesn't work, you'll be left with a delicious wafer with chocolate flavors! It's a win-win if you ask me!

Fruitfuls

These hard candies with cherry flavor filling are sure to bring some joy. These type of candies are ubiquitous in Latin America, this is the Argentinian twist. 🌪️ Speaking of twists, did you know the rollercoaster Torbellino (aka "Twister")  in Parque de la Costa Buenos Aires is among the tallest and faster coasters in Latin America?

Brazil

7 Belo

Seven Heaven, and these are sure to take you there! Enjoy these tasty chewy candies with a kick of raspberry flavor. 🍓 Also Brazil is the 7th largest country in the world by land area... coincidence? I think not!

Butter Toffee

The name says it all - these toffees are lemon flavored. Simple, but perfect 🤩 Brazilians love their lemonade and so do we! After this treat, why don't you try making their world famous Brazilian Lemonade (or as they call it, "Swiss Lemonade... it's complicated) with this recipe

Ecuador

Tango - Clasico

Don't worry, you won't need to Tango to enjoy these vanilla flavored cookies filled with cream and covered with chocolate, but if you do, I'm sure they would be even tastier 💃 Ps. Try dipping it in milk or coffee for extra flavor points! Ps. Tango is a dance typically associated with Argentina; however, Ecuador has their own iconic dance genre, Pasillo

Guatemala

Ignite your taste buds with a fiery kick! These tiny tortilla chips are packed with the bold flavor of Guatemalan jalapeños. Peruvian spunge cake dipped in chocolate and filled with double manjar (milk based sweet)! 🤪 This would go perfect with some Yerba Mate - Did you know Peru is one of the world's largest producer of yerba mate, a traditional South American drink that's often enjoyed with sweet treats like this one."
