Note: The expiration date on these snacks may be using a different date format that you may be using. Many snacks in Latin America use the Day/Month/Year format so please make a note of that when reading it.

Argentina!

Alfajor De Chocolate Blanco

Argentina's Alfajores are some of the best in the world 🌎. These are no different. Indulge in these delicious milk caramel filled sandwich cookies covered in yummy white chocolate.

Did you know Alfajor has it's roots in the middle east? When the Iberian Peninsula was under the Al-Andalus period, this tasty treat was adopted. It then spread to Latin America by the Spanish and Portuguese.

Billiken

Who wouldn't love these delicious chewy candies with a burst of peach yogurt flavor! 🍑 Even the tough Gauchos (Think the Argentina equivalent of a vaquero or cowboy) from Argentina can't resist these!

Bon Bon Chocolate

Story time: Bon Bon's brand was one of the brands that created the "Semana de la Dulzara" in Argentina. It is a week in the summer where you share a snack for a kiss! All you need to do is say "Un Bon o Bon por un beso" (A Bon o Bon for a kiss). We aren't in Argentina, but it might be worth a try 🫣 Even if it doesn't work, you'll be left with a delicious wafer with chocolate flavors! It's a win-win if you ask me!

Fruitfuls

These hard candies with cherry flavor filling are sure to bring some joy. These type of candies are ubiquitous in Latin America, this is the Argentinian twist. 🌪️ Speaking of twists, did you know the rollercoaster Torbellino (aka "Twister")  in Parque de la Costa Buenos Aires is among the tallest and faster coasters in Latin America?

Rumba

Yummy chocolate flavored sandwich cookies with coconut flavored filling! 🥥Not to be confused with Roomba Robot Vacuum! 🤖 Ps. Roomba is named after the dance style Rumba from Cuba, want a lesson? Check this out

Brazil!

7 Belo

Seven Heaven, and these are sure to take you there! Enjoy these tasty chewy candies with a kick of raspberry flavor. 🍓 Also Brazil is the 7th largest country in the world by land area... coincidence? I think not!

Butter Toffees Limon

The name says it all - these toffees are lemon flavored. Simple, but perfect 🤩 Brazilians love their lemonade and so do we! After this treat, why don't you try making their world famous Brazilian Lemonade (or as they call it, "Swiss Lemonade... it's complicated) with this recipe

Ouro Branco

Indulge in the irresistible allure of Lacta Ouro Branco! This Brazilian bonbon is a symphony of flavors and textures, with a crispy wafer, luscious chocolate cream, and a smooth white chocolate coating. It's a must-try for any chocolate lover. 😋👑 Fun fact: Brazil is the birthplace of capoeira, a martial art and dance form that combines elements of acrobatics, breakdancing, and music. It is also the birthplace of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - I think it goes without saying that is probably a good idea not to mess with Brazilians 🙃

Ecuador!

Tango Mini

Don't worry, you won't need to Tango to enjoy these vanilla flavored cookies filled with cream and covered with chocolate, but if you do, I'm sure they would be even tastier 💃 Ps. Try dipping it in milk or coffee for extra flavor points! Ps. Tango is a dance typically associated with Argentina; however, Ecuador has their own iconic dance genre, Pasillo

El Salvador!

Nougat

Experience the pillowy softness that are these soft strawberry and vanilla flavored nougats. 🛏️ Ps. Although we typically associate the Mayan empire with Guatemala, a significant number of ruins are also within El Salvador. Checkout this blog detailing Joya de Ceren and  San Andreas and the ruins within.

Honduras!

Taqueritos Chile Toreado

If you like a little spice, then you'll love these Honduran classics - these rolled corn chips are flavored with some fiery chile! 🔥 A little known fact about Honduras is that there is a sizable population that is of African descent. They are known as Garifuna and have a unique culture that blends African, indigenous, and European influences. Their music, dance, and cuisine are distinctive features of Honduran culture.

Mexico!

Swkinkles Rellenos

Let's keep the fire going with these Mexican classics! These are pineapple flavored hot candy strips with tamarindo flavored filling. This has a bit of a Chamoy flavor, which while created in Mexico, has it's roots in Japanese and Chinese cuisine via Japanese and Chinese diaspora

Bubbaloo

Who doesn't love bubble gum with a juicy core? Bubbaloo is a classic that every kid in Mexico knows and loves ❤️ Mexico REALLY loves their snacks, they are in the top ten countries with the largest candy retail volume. It's no wonder their snacks are world famous.

Camote Poblano

This sweet potato candy is a traditional Mexican snack. A bit of a unique taste that really teleports you to a Pueblo Magico 🛫 If you are ever interested in Visiting Mexico (which you should!), you should definitively visit one of the 177 official magic pueblos, which are the epitome of Mexican tradition and culture. Our favorite is San Miguel de Allande

Palanqueta Mixta

Here we have another Mexican traditional snack - a peanut mix candy bar. One of my personal favorites ❤️

Paleta Bola

Cajeta is a big deal in Mexico - basically thickened caramel traditionally made from goat's milk. This little lollipop brings that to you 🐐 Interested in making your own Cajeta? Check out this recipe

Pulparindo Push

This little snack makes you work for it! Push on it and you'll get hot and salted tamarindo pulp candy🔥 Definitively worth all the work! Tip: If you can't push anymore out, then pull the white piece out to get the last of it :)

Pulparindots

What's better than Mango? Tamarindo coated mango candies! Funnily enough, Tamarindo is actually native to tropical Africa and India; however, it was introduced to the Americas by the Spanish. Now it is one of the more ubiquitous flavors of Mexican snacks.

Tostitos Salsa Verde

Don't worry, these green salsa flavored corn ships ain't too spicy, but they pack just enough of a bite to give it that extra edge! 🤪

Peru!

Chifles Sabor a Leche de Tigre

Peru is renowned for it's ceviche, so we had to include some ceviche flavored banana chips 🍌. Check out this recipe we posted to make your own ceviche

Chocman Doble Manjar

Peruvian spunge cake dipped in chocolate and filled with double manjar (milk based sweet)! 🤪 This would go perfect with some Yerba Mate - Did you know Peru is one of the world's largest producer of yerba mate, a traditional South American drink that's often enjoyed with sweet treats like this one." Here is a great guide on how to prepare your own

Venezuela!

Galak

Galak keeps it classic with a nice white chocolate snack with milk flavor 🥛 Did you know Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia used to be one country? For about 10 years from 1819-1831 both were part of Gran Colombia, but eventually split to what we know today.
